Your very own Master Gardener to walk you through the growing season! Need help with your garden? Want to learn how to grow organic produce? Team up with our garden specialist to sort it all out and get your crops flourishing-- without synthetic chemicals! Whether you do container gardening, raised beds or have a quarter-acre of yard space ready for planting, we can help!


We offer five different service packages, great for all experience levels: 1) Essential; 2) Essential + Soil Analysis; 3) Mini Soil Care; 4) A Little Help From a Friend; and 5) Homesteaders Soil Care.


Each plan includes weekly email check-ins that are full of bits of timely garden advice as well as opportunities to ask questions or share successes and frustrations. Each plan also includes a personalized pre-season site visit and garden plan to get you going.

The Essential Garden Package ($100), includes:
  • An on-site assessment of your garden space-- we'll check your soil, sunlight, irrigation, space, etc.
  • A personalized plan for when and where to plant your seeds and seedlings. We'll go over the fruits, veggies and herbs you and your family most enjoy, and we'll map out your garden to maximize your harvest. We'll also make recommendations on different plant varieties based on your level of gardening experience, West Michigan climate and your personal tastes.
  • Season-long guidance. Questions always come up, but with Good Sweet Earth, you'll have an expert ready to guide you as you encounter pests, unproductive plants, fertilization questions, and any other curves nature can throw at you. We'll walk you through it all season long with weekly e-check-ins!
The Essential Garden Package + Soil Analysis ($140), includes:
  • Everything in the Essential Garden Package
  • A soil test & analysis
Mini Soil Care Package ($200), includes:
  • Everything in the Essiantial Garden Package + Soil Analysis
  • One 0.5-cubic-foot bag of Raw BioChar
  • One 15-pound bag of Living Worm Compost
  • 10% off all Good Sweet Earth purchases through the end of the calendar year
A Little Help From a Friend Package ($300), includes:
  • Everything in the Essential Garden Package + Soil Analysis
  • Everything in the Mini Soil Care Package
  • Two hours of hands-on help in the garden (help with weeding, planting, tilling, harvesting, fertilizing, winterizing)
Homesteader's Soil Care Package ($500), includes:
  • Essential Garden Package + Soil Test
  • 100 pounds of Living Worm Compost, delivered in the amount you need whenever you need it (a share in our Worm Compost CSA)
  • 100 gallons of Worm Tea, delivered in the amount you need whenever you need it (a share in our Worm Tea CSA)
  • 10% off all Good Sweet Earth purchases through the end of the calendar year
