Want to support sustainable community agriculture in West Michigan? How about donating a bucket of Worm Compost to the community garden at Benjamin's Hope, and help them build a new greenhouse to serve their community!
At Good Sweet Earth, we absolutely love what's happening at Benjamin's Hope in Holland. They've got an amazing community garden, where they're growing things the right way-- naturally, with compost. Benjamin's Hope brings together individuals of all abilities-- with a special focus on people with autism-- to live, work, play, worship-- and garden-- together. You can help support this amazing organization by donating a bucket of vermicompost to their community garden program.
Right now, they're also raising money to build a new greenhouse on-site. This will allow them to continue their gardening activities year-round. Benjamin's Hope is a debt-free organization, so they are raising every dollar they need before they even break ground. They hope to have it up and running by next winter, so we're doing whatever we can to help them reach their financial goal. We hope you can help too.
Here's how it works: For $5, you purchase a small bucket of Living Worm Compost to be given to Benjamin's Hope. For every bucket donated, Good Sweet Earth will give a dollar to Ben's Hope greenhouse fund.
50 for 50 bonus: If you donate 50 buckets or more ($250), Good Sweet Earth will send an additional $50 in cash toward their greenhouse fund.
This Giving Tuesday event runs from Friday, Nov. 24-Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017. We hope you'll give generously. Since Benjamin's Hope is a non-profit organization, all donations are tax-deductible where permitted.
