Lawn Soil: 20 pounds
Lawn Soil is a naturally-enhanced soil amendment for patching lawns. It's specially blended and tested to help grass seed quickly germinate, take root and grow healthy shoots. It holds water and nutrients better than plain top soil, and keeps the right amount of water directly on the seeds for rapid germination.
Comes in a 20-pound bag, and is intended to be used to patch holes in the lawn. Lawn Soil contains no seeds; seeds must be purchased separately, and applied with Lawn Soil. Read more about Lawn Soil here.
To use: Rake area to be seeded, cover area with 1/4 to 1/3-inch of Lawn Soil. Apply grass seed and work gently into Lawn Soil. Water lightly, keep Lawn Soil moist until grass appears. Best used in spring (April/May) or late-summer/early-fall (late-August/September). Contains: Screened topsoil, Worm Compost, coco coir, greensand.
