Winter is the time we build up our Worm Compost supply
For gardeners, winter is a time for rest & renewal. Same goes for us at Good Sweet Earth. As a small family-owned farm that specializes in Worm Compost (and other all-natural soil amendments), the winter months are a time we prepare ourselves for the upcoming growing season.
Our compost worms are feeding on rotting produce all year long, but the demand for their castings goes up considerably in the early spring. So, during the months of January, February and March, we put a pause on delivery of Worm Compost, so that we can allow our inventory to grow enough so that we'll have enough product for the spring rush.
You can still place an order for Worm Compost (or our Worm Compost CSA) all winter long, and we'll get in touch with you in late March to arrange a delivery for after April 1.
If you've purchased a share in our Worm Compost CSA (a bulk, pre-paid plan), the delivery season for you will start a couple weeks earlier. You can arrange delivery of any Worm Compost you need on or after March 15.
Thank you for your support, and we look forward to helping you garden organically in 2021!
