All together now: 'You Are What You Eat'

This video is a cute reminder that you are not only what you eat, but you are what what you eat eats. And even further than that, you are what what you eat eats eats!

That means if you put chemicals on your vegetable garden, you’re eating chemicals. But it also means if the food your chicken is eating (corn, etc) is raised on chemicals, the chicken you eat is full of chemicals and you will be too.

It all starts with good, healthy soil– no chemicals. Even if you’re not raising livestock, you should still be aware of where your meat comes from. If you buy beef from a local grass-fed farm, don’t be afraid to ask if they use any chemicals on their grass. Those chemicals will enter the turf, then enter the cow, and ultimately enter you.
